Links come from public thesis records, Wikidata, the Academic Family Tree (CC BY 4.0) and the scholars themselves; the nearest ones are labelled on the profile. Older generations follow Wikidata’s “doctoral advisor” and “student of” statements and the Academic Family Tree’s graduate and postdoctoral links; for early scholars these record teachers as well as formal supervisors. A thesis record does not say who the main supervisor was, so co-supervisors appear alongside.
